Teenage Boy On Bicycle Killed By Youth Supervisor In DUI Accident

A youth supervisor with the Illinois Department of Corrections is accused of driving drunk and striking Andrew Keating as he was walking his bike near St. Louis Avenue and West 115th Street. Keating later died from his injuries, and charges against Leland were upgraded from driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license to reckless homicide.
Johnny Leland, 51, was held in lieu of $150,000 bail after he was charged with reckless homicide in the death of the 15-year-old.
