Two People Were Injured In An Accident South Of Farina Last Night.

State Police say 77-year-old William Russell of Kinmundy was northbound on Clay County Road 29-hundred East when he missed a jog in the road and ran into the roadside ditch.

Russell and a passenger, Ethel Kline of Farina, were both taken to St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham by a family member. The wreck occurred just after nine Thursday night.

A 47-year-old Salem woman was injured this morning when her car struck a dog and the airbags deployed.

Salem Police say Frances Tucker of U.S. 50 East was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment. The wreck occurred just before seven Friday morning.
