Three Injured In Two-vehicle Crash

March 27, 2006

Three people were transported to hospitals, one possibly seriously injured, after a two-car collision Friday night at Rock Valley Parkway and Perryville Road.

The wreck occurred about 7:30 p.m. when a green BMW was traveling northbound on Perryville and a Mercury Mountaineer stopped at the stop sign at Rock Valley Parkway, but pulled out to make a left turn into the path of the BMW, said Loves Park Patrol Sergeant Greg Allton.

The passenger in the Mountaineer was flown by helicopter to Rockford Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the Mountaineer also was taken to Rockford Memorial Hospital but by ambulance.

The driver of the BMW was taken by ambulance to Saint Anthony Medical Center.
