Three Dead In Crash
October 28, 2005
Three Evansville women are killed in a car crash in Lawrence County, Illinois.
The accident took place on Wednesday, September 21, just before 2 p.m. on U.S. 50 near Lawrenceville.
Illinois State Police say a semi, driven by 41-year old Kevin Mohr was heading west when he sideswiped an eastbound car. Troopers say Mohr then hit another eastbound car head on.
The driver of that car, 79-year old Vera Musgrave of Evansville was killed, along with two of her passengers, 75-year old Ava lee Anthony, and 78-year old Odelia Thurmond. Two other people in the car were injured.
An investigation into the accident continues.
