A motorist was killed and two passengers were injured this morning in a rollover crash on the Eisenhower Expressway on Chicago's West Side on February 10.
Shortly after 3 a.m., the 1997 Infiniti Q45 flipped over on a grassy embankment along the westbound lanes of the expressway (Interstate Highway 290), near Western Avenue, state police said.
According to the Cook County medical examiner's office, the driver, Richard Cox, 22, of the 4900 block of West Quincy Street, was pronounced dead at 4 a.m. at Stroger Hospital.
The two male passengers, ages 22 and 28, were also taken to Stroger Hospital. The 28-year-old was severely injured, and the 22-year-old suffered non-life-threatening injuries, state police said.
